It can be one of the most challenging craft elements for writers, but nothing brings a piece to life more than dynamic dialogue.

In this friendly, interactive online session, suitable for all writers and all levels, we’ll look at some quick tricks for generating conversations full of conflict, and dialogue that speaks for itself! We’ll look at the relationship dynamics at play in contemporary dialogue exchanges and consider what’s really going on beneath the surface – and how we know.

Hosted by Dr Claire Griffiths, Associate Professor of Creative Writing and Programme Lead for Northeastern University London's online MA Contemporary Creative Writing, this interactive session will also include an introduction to the programme, admissions guidance and ample time for Q&A.
